Oh, the people I meet.

So, I just got back from camping today and I have come to a realization - I have inherited my mom's amazing ability to attract crazy people. Really crazy people.
Take Don for instance.
Don is in his 50's, and hangs out up in Monte Cristo (the campground). He walks around with his little chihuahua Patty, who I might add, is the coolest, most chilled out chihuahua I have ever seen.
We were sitting around the campfire mid-afternoon when he spotted us. He approached us with a sortof psycho grin on his face, picked up his dog and put it in my friend Shannon's lap and sat down. He was very lonely. I don't remember all of our conversations, but I will say that one of his stories consisted of him smoking "chronic" and sh-tting himself in his truck.
Yeah.
I also remember him saying that they wanted him to be camp host, and I asked him if they were going to pay him.
"No", he said.
"Oh, well, why don't you just do it so you can get a break on your taxes, AND you get to hang out in a campground" (I don't know I was just making stuff up)
"I don't have to pay my taxes because I'm disabled."
"Oh, really? How are you disabled?"
I was expecting him to say that he had a low IQ or something like that, but instead he said, "Doesn't my head look WAY too big for my shoulders?"
"Nooooo..."
It didn't. At all. I was frightened.
And that was the end of that.
We also met ALOT of other people, like the guy who was in a band in LA and played AWESOME guitar and his crazy drunk girlfriend kept hitting on EVERYONE. And flashed everyone.
There were the boyscouts who mocked me by the creek because we told them we were vampires.
And then there was this guy who talked non stop. And when I say non stop, I went to bed really late the first night and I could hear him talking and then I woke up only to still hear him talking. Seriously. He didn't leave the campfire. He also had some friends, one, who looked like Sean Penn played the guitar all night and who later his friend Julio told me that he said he "Wanted to git wit you."
Ahh yes. I just had to share these amazing experiences.
Oh the people I meet.
